GSC & Community Action

John is a proud Granite State College (College for Lifelong Learning) alumnus who teaches courses for the College and for Community College of Vermont. He also serves as the Outreach Coordinator at Granite State College’s Upper Valley Regional Center in Claremont & Lebanon. In this position John travels from his home in Brattleboro, VT throughout the Connecticut River Valley between Keene, NH and Brattleboro to Hanover NH and Norwich, Vt, meeting with businesses, organizations and individuals. John is passionate about helping people find the most effective education and career enhancement opportunities, building strong and sustainable individuals, organizations and communities. 

Receiving a Masters of Science degree in Organization and Management from Antioch University New England in Keene, he has served on many local boards, as an independent consultant for businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals, as development director at the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention, Director of the former Boys & Girls Club in Springfield, Vermont and as a grant writer at the Student Conservation Association in Charlestown.
