Library & Research Commons

On October 1 GSC students will have access to expanded electronic resources and a greatly enhanced gateway to those resources. Students and faculty will access the new service from the Library & Research Commons homepage, as well as other pages on the site.

The GSC Discovery Service, as it is known, provides a simple 1-step gateway to all the library’s information resources. The same log-in used to access Ebsco databases will provide access to the new service.  Once in the service users will have the option of using Ebsco’s Basic Search tool as well as a few new search options. There are also subject-specific search buttons, and access to the full-text of 88,000 academic e-books.

Students and faculty are encouraged to contact the College Librarian for a personalized tour of the new service, or if they have questions.
