Out of State Possibilities

We all have many great days in our life and today was one for me.  It was my birthday. I turned 55 today. I was not the least bit sad about it, actually quite the opposite, I felt great turning 55. The plus of turning 55 is that I get a discount at my most favorite store, Hancock Fabrics.  I know it doesn't sound like a big thing to most people but to me it is just great.  I love to sew, so getting a discount on my favorite hobby, is just wonderful. 

I spent some of the day up in Ashville eating chocolate truffles.  My daughter is getting married soon and I had to test two different chocolate shops. They were not Swans but they were good.  I was discovering which chocolates were better tasting, had better texture and left me smiling from ear to ear.  As I was eating my chocolate truffles I thought about the many trips I took to Swans chocolate shop when going to study for my adult college classes.  I would zip on in the store, on Daniel Webster Hwy, and grab a couple of truffles to take to class with me to munch on. Yum...man, they have the best truffles. Maybe I should just order them from Swans and have the shipped.  It's an option for sure and something to consider. Planning a wedding is not easy. It takes time, effort and lots of thinking. Just like going to school did, making that first call to Granite State College and just doing it.  I guess I need to make the decision and "just do it."
