Grateful to GSC for my degree and much more

My best friend in Massachusetts was just laid off from her job last week. What a horrifying situation for her to find herself in. She began her adult college program one year before I but still has not earned her degree. Unfortunately she has not found the same flexibility available from her University that Granite State College offers. She is just another 50-year-old woman with no degree fighting for the same jobs as those with a B.S. or B.A. on their resumes. She is at a huge disadvantage. I am heartbroken for her and grateful to Granite State College for allowing me to obtain my adult college degree without the obstacles she has found thrown in front of her from her academic institute.

I pray I do not find myself in the same position as my friend but know if I do I will have the added advantage of having my degree proudly displayed on my resume.
