With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I fondly think of those I love - among these names is one I have been proud to be acquainted with for quite some time. Since 1996, when I first met all the great people representing what was then referred to as The College for Lifelong Learning, I have continued to be impressed. I love that I have consistently been privileged to meet so many students, faculty, and staff, as well as many others who may have affiliation with the college. I love that each and every person has been exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and kind. I love that I can say that with full integrity because the college environment is based on a feeling of community and fellowship. I love that only the highest academic integrity is upheld within all realms of the college atmosphere. I am privileged to be able to say that I loved the college before, and I fell back in love with it when I returned as an alumni to complete my Bachelor's degree. I love the new name I saw upon returning: Granite State College. I love that it continues to provide the same nourishing academic environment as always. I love the fact that academic plans are individualized to fit any student's needs. I love the variety of up-to-date courses, as well as the fact that each is taught by a highly-qualified instructor, whether online, or in a classroom. I love that many options exist to complete course requirements, such as CLEP and individual classes at times. I love the online tutoring available. I love that students seem to always "Moodle" through successfully! I may not have a Valentine this year, but that's ok, because Granite State College won my heart many years ago! What do I love about Granite State College? Everything!
